so good to see you on my blog again. As you might have noticed, i’ve been a little less active this month on here, which was mainly due to a very busy time schedule in my daily life. But let me tell you – i’ve missed you all very much! Of course i was popping in and out as much as i could. The pleasant outcome was to be mentioned by a few very talented bloggers and twitter friends. Some of the posts were really so unexpected and wonderful, that i really felt blessed to have found such amazing people in the blogger community. If you don’t mind, i would love to share those news and featured posts with you. I hope you understand, that i’m not bragging, but simply being incredibly flattered and happy.
If you a steady follower of the beauty blogging community, you know for sure, that by the end of 2012, close to the holiday season, there have been hundreds of beauty giveaways happening. As i’m exactly as you are – a typical makeup loving girl, i entered a few of those held by bloggers i follow anyway. And so the magic happened and I was a lucky winner. But see for yourself.

I had entered the Goodbye 2012 Giveaway on: Laura’s blog A scottish lass, that she was holding together with Georgina from Makeup Pixi3. (screen shots from Makeup-Pixi3) Ok, can we stop for a moment and look at the number of total entries for that giveaway. I’m usually not someone, who easily win’s anything, but knowing that out of 12745 entries the winner was ME, is kind of incredible. And i’m not just saying that, i seriously mean it. When i got Laura’s tweet, it totally made my day. 🙂 Now i just needed to create a blog button to provide it to Georgina for my free advertising. Well, as you know, i’m still a newbie to the blogging world and something like a blog button is nothing i ever made before. But luckily my amazing blogging buddy the Sweet Jelly Bean, who i’m going to mention later on, was so kind to lend me a helping hand. And the next day my happy face was was shining, along other bloggers from Georgina’s side bar. 🙂 So while Laura sent me the beautiful Dior Grand BalMakeupPalette, which should arrive this week (i might be doing a review on it, ones i get the chance to play with the palette for a little bit) – Georgina offered me a featured blog post along her other advertisers.

My Sweet Jelly Bean – Donah was a birthday girl this month, so i’ve decided to send her a few goodies, like a matte top coat, that we were talking about before. And of course i didn’t expect her to write anything about it, since it was not a swap or sponsoring, but just a birthday gift. But you know Donah – she totally did. And now on to my latest adventure over atNykki-talks-beauty. Nykki is a smart and skilled beauty blogger from Arizona, who loves this community very much, which definitely shows in her dedication. She is always involved in group projects and useful blogging ideas and that’s one of the reasons, why her followers love her personality and her blog.
That is also why i’ve decided to become a sponsor for the upcoming month over on her page. Where were you born? I was born & lived in Italia in a beautiful beach town.
Where do you live right now? I live in the UK and have done since i was 4, not as hot as Italia, but hey!
Where is your favorite place to be? A beach in Italia is my favourite place to be! The sound of my language, the weather and how it’s so chilled out there with amazing smell of fresh food!
What was your dream job when you were a kid? My dream job was to be a nurse 🙂
What do you do now? I am a children’s outreach worker, i work with families and children within many areas, such as domestic violence.
When did you decide it was time to become a beauty blogger? I started with doing vintage, after my mama discovered the world of blogs. Then through that i found beauty blogs and they inspired me so around may 2012.
What were your best and worst beauty experiences of 2012? My best beauty experiences were discovering Bioderma and Vichy cleansing wash!! My skin loves them both. My worst has to be stick to the nailpolishes i know & trust because i wasted money on other brands that chipped after one day and that irritates me!
Have you discovered anything new (about yourself and others) during your blogging career? I have learned to believe in myself and know that i can do this. Blogging has allowed me to meet some amazing people and to grow in confidence.
What would you recommend to a newbie in the blogosphere? To a newbie i would say, don’t listen to others, who dictate on how your blog should be, its YOUR blog so enjoy it. Dont worry about “rules” as there aren’t any!
Do you have a motto that you live by? Dont take the ones you love for granted, appreciate and love every moment with each of them!
Is there something your readers don’t know about you yet and would be surprised to know? I don’t think there is anything suprising…what about the fact that i hate celery!? 😉
Do you plan anything super special for 2013 regarding your everyday life and your blog? 2013 is going to be the year I grow as a blogger, and will finally get a good camera! I also plan to attend more blogger events and meetups.
Please tell us about your current beauty secret, that you’ve been obsessed with lately. My current beauty must have, that I can’t get enough of is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation! It covers, brightens and lasts! I find this to be such an amazing product and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I have to tell you, this has been an exciting week so far. Besides of being a little under the weather and incredibly busy, i was also lucky enough to get featured in one of my favorite beauty bloggers post. Donah the SweetJellyBean, who you might have heard me raving about before, made a great collaborative article on bloggers favorite toners and called it: “Favourite Facial Toners & Mists from Around the World” – a title straight to the point, if you ask me, since all the bloggers are from different corners of our planet, which made it even more fun!
