Good evening Beauties around the world.
Thanks for being such a great sport and supporting my blog as much as you do. It means a lot!
Today I would like to share with you the little secrets about my most favorite toner of the year 2012.
I know most of us are using some kind of toner after taking the makeup off. Some of the most raved ones this year are probably the
Eau de Beauté by Caudalie, Pore Refining Toner by Sanctuary, Cucumber Face Toner by The Balm and Toning Lotion w/ Chamomile for dry or normal skin by Clarins.
Why should i use a facial toner at all, you might ask? In my experience it helps to control the dirt and oil of your skin and at the same time it also shrinks your pores ( no one likes having huge pores around the nose and chin area!) And another good reason is to restore the pH balance. Don’t forget that by using all the different soaps, face washes ect you disturb this natural balance – even if you’re actually trying to keep your face healthy and clean. That are at least my reasons.
And now back to Kiehl’s.
I have never used Kiehl’s products before, but heard so many great things about this brand and it’s products.
So I was incredibly happy when I got this 50 ml (1.7 fl. oz.) bottle in a beauty box to try.
(I’m wearing Victoria’s Secret: To die For on my nails)
First of all, it’s an antioxidant toner, that helps to balance and refine skin’s texture. It can also be used at any time as a refresher, which is a big plus especially during hot summer days. In my experience it helps to cool & calm my skin down a lot better than just the normal thermal water. (Btw: I have a sensitive & combination skin)
It’s 100% natural origin ingredients and 77,1% of the total formula is organic; paraben & silicone free.
It contains Açaí berry, fruit waters, flowers, leaves and stems of plants, lavender and leaf oils.
It mostly smells like lavender to me, which I personally love, as well as the fact, that it comes in a recyclable spray bottle.
This toning mist leaves my face completely refreshed with a feeling of a “breathing & healthy glowing skin”. If i touch my face after the mist soaked in completely, it feels like pure silk – and i’m loving it!
So as you can probably imagine, i will definitely be purchasing a 180 ml (6.0 fl. oz.) full size bottle soon.
Hope you give it a try. If you do, let me know about your experience.
In case you are a fan of Kiehl’s products, or have some kind of other magical weapon, please share your secrets with me.

December 19, 2012 at 7:10 pm
Thank you very much. Welcome to my blog and tell me if you try this products as well. Would like to hear about it.
December 19, 2012 at 7:51 pm
btw you have a really nice blog yourself. A big “like”
December 19, 2012 at 8:58 pm
no problem, and thanks so much!
December 19, 2012 at 7:07 pm
That looks like such a pleasure for your skin. And I love the smell of lavender
Where can I get it?
Glad you mentioned that it controls oily-ness since I have a combination skin. Therefor I’m a little bit reserved with trying new products.
Think I need to try this… you tempt me
December 19, 2012 at 7:09 pm
Oh.. and I LOVE that gorgeous polish you’re wearing!
December 19, 2012 at 7:42 pm
Thank you, the color + the shimmer in it is beautiful, but the formulation and the drying was a big disappointment…I might be doing a short blog post about it. This was actually the only Victiria’s secret polish that i got, when i was in NYC – so i’m not exactly sure if all their polishes are that kind of quality or it’s just this particular one…

You can first check out Douglas and if they don’t have the brand, you can easily find it online. I think it’s being sold almost everywhere.
December 19, 2012 at 7:20 pm
That’s great! I was planning going to Douglas this Saturday (still need to buy some Christmas presents… shame on me!). Thanks hun!
December 19, 2012 at 7:21 pm
You can also ask if they have any samples or really small size bottles. I was happy i got a small one to try. And i will keep the bottle for traveling.

Oh you mean the Balm Balm Witch Hazel Toner? I heard a thing or two about it, but never tried. Does it smell nice?
December 19, 2012 at 10:55 pm
The stuff I use is called Thayers. I like it because it is alcohol free and very soft. They have different scents…I’m currently using rose petal but am going to get lemon next time!

Glad you stopped by. I can truly recommend this toner, i didn’t know what to expect before, but now i’m a big fan of Kiehl’s.
The nail color is awesome, i loved how it looked in the bottle, but i have to say the quality isn’t that well. I might be doing a posts about my dissapointment later on. too pitty, since the color is just fab!

I need this in my life
December 20, 2012 at 12:50 am
LoL go & get it girl, i don’t think you would regret the buy. I would recommend to get a small bottle first, so you can test out if it suits your skin.

Hey Luchessa! I’ve currently been using Caudalie’s eau de beauté and I like the effects of it on my skin, but I am not particularly fond of the smell. I am however really fond of lavender! So I will keep my eye out for this. I am always interested in getting a general idea for prices, so mentioning the price of the full size bottle would be great. Overall though, good job and a very polished review!
December 22, 2012 at 12:52 pm
Thank you very much for the compöiment & and the useful tip. I will do so. I will check out the prize and add it here. I don’t think it’s anything cheap, but for me a good investment.
With Caudalie i would say, it’s like with every other face care product, you either like the smell or not. The good thing – you have the right effect on your skin, but you should def watch for something else if the smell is bothering you. ( I often have that kind of problem with lipsticks) Let me know if you get Kiehl’s pls!
December 22, 2012 at 4:19 pm
I will definitely let you know if I try out this particular Kiehl’s product! Caudalie’s eau de beauté works well enough, but if there’s another product out there that works just as well for around the same price and smells better, then I’m gonna go with that one!
December 23, 2012 at 12:41 am
it totally make sense.
